The RetCam II is a mobile, self-contained system that can be easily moved around the hospital or office. It provides state-of-the-art Wide-Field Pediatric Retinal Imaging and Anterior Segment. In just a few minutes you can do an entire exam and document almost the entire retina with as few as 5 photos. The heart of the RetCamII is our 3 CCD medical grade digital camera. Combined with our family of lenses, you can see a 130 degree field-of-view, real-time image of the pediatric retina. Seeing such a wide area makes diagnostics easier, you have to “scan” less than when seeing a small area of view (as with the indirect) plus the image and patient record is saved instantly as a digital file onto 9.4GB DVD-RAM media.
